Down into spring

Did probably my last ski tour of the season yesterday. Drove out to the Wilder Kaiser and did the Treffauer Schneekar. It´s still worth it although we had to carry the skis on our sacks for the first hour and a part of the steep section below the Schneekar proper too because the snow was icey and it was just easier kicking steps. The last few meters up to the Treffauer Lücke we did by foot too. Great views with perfect weather. Saw the front coming in in the afternoon - which looked good.
Then it was a ski down into spring - crocuses blooming - really pretty.
And the last plus - no one there but us 4! :D

Good one Charles.

I came back from Snowdonia on March 9th having had three great trips there this winter. But still wanting more. Almost went back last week for a day or two, as the snow had returned. But I think I guessed right that it would be limited snow with a lot of rain due to fall on it. So reluctantly I am now making Spring and Summer plans.

I don't want to wish my life away, but come on next winter!
