weekend in Salida
Posted: Thu Jul 08, 2010 5:02 amI'll be in Salida this weekend and have a day to devote to hiking. Browsing several of the trailheads of mountains in the area, they all list some 4WD road that needs to be negotiated to get to the trailhead. I don't have 4WD. I have a tiny sedan.
Can you guys recommend a mountain I can drive to where I won't have to worry about clearance? It need not be a 14er, just a good hike to the top of something.
