Hi,
I'm planning a trip to South Colony lakes to tackle a few 14ers in August. I'll be doing only up to 4th class for the summits. Since I'll be down off the summit to miss the afternoon storms, I was thinking of finding a spot nearby that I could practice climbing either toproping or trad climbing. I've done a lot of practice indoors, but since I'm from Pittsburgh, finding a place nearby to practice outdoors is rather difficult.
Is there any good places in that area to climb? Even bouldering would be nice.
Thank you!
