Beta on road from Vail to Piney Lake in the Gores?

Anyone know or have the ability to drive up and check out the road from Vail up to Piney Lake in the Gores? Some pretty special peaks up there that I'd like to sink my teeth into.

Gated and not going to open for a while! Big snow year. I'd say it'll be at least 5-7 weeks at the very earliest before the road to the lake opens. Was still riding snowmobiles up to the lake just about a week ago. The first mile of the road is clear of snow, but after the first big switchback there's still a solid couple of feet of snow covering the road.

Curious about the same thing. Heading to the Gores via Piney River Ranch in a week and have seen no beta at all on Powell, Eagle's Nest, or anything nearby.
