It's official! I'm now the manager of the Base Camp Museum Store at the Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum in Golden. It's one of those non-profit do-what-it-takes-to-make-it-work positions. But do you know what it's like to work in the middle of your inspiration? This is the first job I've ever had where I leave it in a better mood than when I arrive.

Jake Norton is Herr Director. Cheez, why do all you mountain men have to be so damned good lookin'?!?! I'm tryin' to concentrate here!

I was on the phone today with Mrs. Pete Schoening. How flippin' cool is that?

Wow. That's all I can say. Wow.

 You and Jake in the same room? I'd already had enough Shangri-la for one day! Besides, there'll be plenty more of those things to go to.

Oui, surtout si vous avez des histoires de Mssr. Washburn.

Et si vous êtes un membre d'AAC.

I think you are trying to translate our American idiom of "having a history with someone" in a positive sense. I'm not sure this idiom translates that well.

No, I'm asking if he has stories about Mr. Washburn.

Congrats. I note your shop carries Bonnie's "Pain Eraser." I would imagine this is a wildly popular item.
