Anyone seen the LS recently? Is it icy or is it still easy snow?

I haven't seen Lambs Slide recently, but I've read of people involuntarily sliding down Mills Glacier last weekend. The snow I've encountered in the Park in the last month was consistently firm. I'd bring crampons. Light-weight, strap-on crampons would do just fine.

Thanks. I was certainly going to bring crampons and an axe. My question was whether or not I'd need ice screws to get onto Broadway. Has it been quite sunny lately?

Yes, it's been quite sunny. I would not carry ice screws.

I went up Lambs to Broadway on Sunday. It was nice firm snow (on it before
the sun hit). Very good conditions.
