Posted: Wed Jun 05, 2019 4:22 amSo I'm assuming the original question really was " North Palisade glacier? Or no?". Since I see no U-Notch, it can't be North Palisade. However, Clyde Peak (which I agree is the mountain depicted) is a part of the 'Palisades Group', as defined by all the climbing guides, So, technically, the painting does depict a Palisade Glacier. Nice painting, BTW.

Posted: Wed May 27, 2020 10:55 pmThat's "Middle Palisade Glacier". The basin directly north of "Palisade Glacier". The painting is by Edgar Payne.
