I just had to look up the address on Google Maps - it looks like its still a residential home, and located just east of the Presido.

I found this card in Oakland this year and couldn't pass it up. The photo is by Ansel Hall taken the year before when the two of them made the first ascent of Middle Palisade. Especially poignant as my neighbor is Ansel's granddaughter. Francis eventually settled in Berkeley and led one amazing life. Ansel as well.
