Cactus to Clouds via the Skyline Trail

Has anyone been up this route recently, and if so, what were the snow conditions like. Any futher details would be appreciated. Thanks.

On John's link check out Skyline 12.12 -- Two very strong hikers took over seven hours to cover a one and a half mile stretch below Long Valley gaining 2500 feet. At the moment there are strong winds and freezing temperatures mainly above the tram.
