Anyone know or want to help me get my fix? I have been in school for 2 years and am almost done. I want to climb a big wall in july or august 2010. Live in fresno. Specifically el capitan....something big. I don't want to pay the $4000+ they want at yosemite. I have most of the gear, haul bag, a dozen or so cams, nuts, big wall harness, and all kinds of crap. Attempted the prow with weather getting the best of us only 200 feet up. And another climb on washington column I forget the name...the one with dinner ledge on it. Got about 500+ feet up before the wind almost blowed us off and we had to retreat. Anyhoo! I haven't asked my wife yet......but she'll let me....i hope. I am willing to pay for someone who knows how to do big wall and has had more success then me. I will try and buy a new rope and anything else needed. Just an idea, not set in stone yet. I don't want to spend my whole life looking up at El Cap and thinking....."Damn...I should have....". Let me know.

So I guess I'll take my question to supertopo also.

Listen bro, you better jus focus on them boards for now. You only get two chances with the BRN. El Cap aint going anywhere.

This is just my opinion of course, but I have always thought that if a man wants to get into the medical field, he would become a doctor. I prefer my nurses to be female...
