Forester Pass conditions?

Anyone been over Forester recently? I've been looking over some of the JMT postings but no one seems to mention Forester. Is that a good thing?
Thanks!

I talked to a couple of guys who were finishing the JMT this weekend - they were between Guitar Lake and Trail Crest when I saw them. They said the only pass that caused them any difficulty was Mather Pass, but they got over it okay. They said the other passes had snow on them, but they were pretty easy to cross. They were on snow for about one mile going over Muir Pass.

I just camped under Forester Pass (south side right before the switchbacks start) a few days ago. There's a little bit of snow still covering the trail but everyone is moving through or around it without too much effort. The north side has more snow but everyone coming over said it wasn't bad, especially if you cross after 10am when the snow softens.
