How much snow fell on Sunday? What's the forecast for the rest of the week and the weekend? AND...any ideas on snow depth on Dana and Conness?

I don't think much snow fell last weekend, but I haven't been up there.

So far, this weekend is shaping up to be windy and rainy with systems moving through Friday and Sunday-Monday. Exactly how windy and rainy is still up in the air...no one seems to have a good handle on that yet. I'd check the forecast again later in the week.

I highly doubt they will reopen again. Here in Mammoth today it looks like Dante's Inferno. Heavy rain and strong winds. Snow level came down to 9,000 feet yesterday. Mammoth Mountain opens its ski season on November 11. Winter has arrived.

Partly cloudy with a slight breeze down here in Crowley.

Typical though.

The forecast for next weekend is looking to be a doosey for the Hill.

I start work on the Hill on the 15th.... ooohhoo

80mph wind gusts and pouring rain here in Minden.
This storm was supposed to bring the snow line down to 6500ft and have ridge gusts up to 145mph.
(Though at least as of this morning it was just rain at 7500ft)

Should we start the "Guess the opening date for Tioga Pass" thread.

At least as far as the eastern Tahoe Rim, that storm left far less snow than promised.
There was certainly enough precipitation but I don't think it got as cold as expected.

Snowline up at 8-9k and it looks as if this front left less on the ground than the one a few weeks back.

At the moment, all of the seasonal passes look like they are still closed (120/4/108)

Ack!

If anyone learns saddlebag lake conditions in the next couple days please post. Otherwise I will call later in the week, but I trust folks here more.

My understanding is that they don't close the gate on Saddlebag Lake Rd until 120 closes for the season. I've driven up there in late season with a foot of snow on the road near the dam. As for the actual condition of the road, I've gotten some pretty good beta from the east side locals on supertopo.

Back open again per the sign on the south side of B-town tonight.

108 is still closed.
