multi desert bags sound good to me.

I have Mondays and Fridays off, btw including sat, sunday which is very conducive for multi desert bags.

have my eyes on some northern sierra SPS peaks as well, still need to do those. The ones south of Tahoe but north of Lee Vining

You don't "know exactly" about any of what you quoted. How many Americans make their livings as ultra runners?

Please try again.

ob, the general pattern you exhibit seems to be avoidance. By you, you don't wait for old slow men, so why bother for me to hike together? Never an offer for any accommodation should you be for real. I visit your site daily now, to get what looks to be current photos for conditions. Just photos, which we all know can either be photoshopped or taken by who knows? I have surmised that this is a Harvard prank, with maybe 10-20 guys relaying a camera for the photos, then you to be inserted where at the top or what.

1000Pks wrote:At the bottom of my account pages are a link, usually "movie clips." That takes you to a HD video or a home page for video, if you are enabled of high speed DSL. 18 mbps is recommended. I appear as myself in much of my videos, with long running action though boring, soon to be even more if I can get some help. I see NO ONE that does similar.

But those are for the more recent easy trips. I don't find such clips for your earlier DPS trips, even though you were perfectly capable of carrying a video cassette recorder or even super 8 with you. Besides, with today's software you can edit your head into those photos; Colbert does it all the time, and he doesn't have your experience with internet cameras and photography. There is a motivation -- increase visibility of your site, pull in advertising money from sponsors. People read your site, see the reference to Bellagio, then decide to go there. You could get under-the-table payments from the hotels, maybe even special deals on Asian massage in your room.

I don't have your economic resources, so I am forced to use lower-bandwidth animated gifs.

It's pretty elaborate, too. I have over 300 folks in on it.

Pete, I don't wait for slow folks during the Challenge, as Tom Grundy (another fraud?) once commented, "that's just the way we roll." Any other time I'm far more accommodating. Try me. Really, if you want partners you have to put yourself out there. They aren't going to be banging down your door if its 4" of solid oak and reinforced with excuses.

Given that they never supported DV even for list finish parties, I respect their privacy and if it's desired that they remain forever lost to the ages, so be it. I don't hike where there are any 110W outlets for any DVRs, and there are my Super 8 movies from when I had those. I don't support low quality, it's always been Kodachrome and 720p min HD for me, no tape.

So where are your movie proofs from pre-2005? I'm just trying to protect the innocents.

BTW, Pete, are you part of

Or is this another case if identity theft? They also have a lot of video clips.

Hey Pete, how did Jeff Davis go? I know that Toxo was a little nervous about that summit, but she seemed happy that you'd be along.

Pete, I did google your site for 'movie', 'video', etc. It was a laborious process that gives a large list of pages that contain the word "movie" or "video,"but very rarely have an actual link to a movie. For 2007 or earlier, those movies tend to show unidentifiable blobs, sometimes in slightly-larger-than-postage-stamp format from a digital camera, sometimes in scratchy low-res format from an analog source. Remember, I'm interested in movies from the earlier days. I originally specified 2005 or earlier, but broadened my search up to 2007. If you have a video from 2007 or pre-2007 that shows you as identifiable, please give us the link. Surely if you are so certain of yourself, you can do that? AND tell us at which time in the video we will be able to see an unambiguously identifiable image of you face.

Don't listen to MoapaPk. It's obvious no one could possibly jump that high at altitude - all his hero shots are faked.

Hey, is that profile pic the mini fridge at the Bellagio? Don't they charge your credit card as soon as you open those things?

You claim to be M.I.T., and you can't find what you're looking for at my website? I'm not God, I can't give you brains back.

Wow Pete, you sure are convincing people that you are a great guy. As always, you resort to nasty ad hominem when people call your BS. The reason I can't find unambiguous pictures in your pre-2007 videos or photos is either : 1) they aren't there, or 2) your website is really badly organized (I'll check the cached copy for updates). You keep accusing people of fraud, and your own material is sorely lacking in the proof that you demand of other people.

People on SP are way too kind to you.

Maybe this is a dumb question but:
When a member is deleted is it always an action by the elves

or

can a member ask to be deleted (become inactive)?
