Snow level

I am thinking of going to the Eastern Sierra in two weeks. I was wondering at what elevation the snow starts? I heard the recent storm dumped quite a bit to lower elevations already. Are all the roads to the higher trailheads still open: What about Mosquito Flats, Horseshoe Meadow? Is the road to Minaret Vista and beyond still open?

I know, many questions, but I appreciate any input.

Thanks.

along the same line of thinking, the road to Saddlebag Lake off of Tioga Pass/120 is clear though there is still over a foot of snow on the ground at lake level. we climbed the right couloir on North Peak with 12"-24" of snow on top of the ice; still made it a worthwhile outing even with all the extra work, and the peaks look great with a good dusting of powder again :)
