Shepard's Pass-Conditions and Predictions

Planning on heading up and over Shepard's Pass around the 21st of June...anyone have any idea on the current conditions for the Pass and the twin bill of Mt. Williamson and Mt. Tyndall. Any predictions (based on current snow levels) where we will be snow-wise up there in a month? Thanks for the input from the helpful SP'ers out there....

Probably significant snow still above Shepherd Pass. I'd guess this year it will look something like below around 21st of June:

Here's July 1-2-3, 2005, which was a fairly heavy snow year:

We hit the first snow fields just above Anvil Camp that year. Ten days or so earlier this year might be the same or even more snow. If we get up to Trojan/Barnard this weekend, we'll get a look over into that area.

Thanks for the insight...looks like camping in Williamson Bowl will mean melting snow for water if the snow level holds true to the picture you posted Bob.
