It may have been 6" but it was far from dry! Wet 30* snow wih brutal winds. First hand account!

we should do something in Tahoe region soon...maybe have a big SP meetup?

Scott, my plans are to hike this Thursday at the north end above Incline, so what were the over-all conditions? Only 6 inches of new wet snow? On packed, or a lot of exposed rock etc?

Marmaduke before you go there, there will be more snow and more changes in weather.

Round top is a great meeting location. Available Routes from cl 4 east ridge to the steep couloirs and a walk up route. Cool peak. Any other ideas?
