Via the Inyo NF Facebook feed:

Here are a handful of updates regarding the roads after the storm last week.
The White Mountain road is closed by three foot snow drifts at Sierra View gate.
Rock Creek open to Mosquito Flat.
The opening of the Reds Meadow Road, scheduled for May 16th, has been rescheduled for May 22, again weather permitting.
Tioga Pass and Monitor Pass have re-opened. Sonora Pass remains closed at this time.
The forecast is calling for more snow/rain as well later this week.

By noon, the 395 signs posted all passes are open today.

Piute Pass trail yesterday - very sloppy conditions with ankle-deep snow (for the most part), mud and cascading water on step sections of trail. Messy but beautiful.

Some snowpack, ice thaw, and conditions reports here:
http://www.virginialakeswater.com/#2562

Up to 4-9 inches of new snow is expected over the next few days and weather could remain unsettled next week.
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=38.047976244000495&lon=-119.26515633999969&site=all&smap=1#.VVPYWDnn_qA

Some places could get a foot or more of new snow. Posthole madness may be likely.
I hope to get out somewhere Memorial Day weekend. We'll see if it ends up stormy like seems typical.
