Missing trail runner convict canyon

anybody know her status ? we hiked into lake genevieve from laurel lakes yesterday, thought we heard a voice once from a far shore but you never know. coming out this morning helicopters and sar everywhere. a trail runner in shorts and tee and her dog did not come back yesterday. she was able to make a cell call from lake genevieve saying teh dog had bloody/bruised paws from what we were told. nothing after that. i feel so guilty for not hanging out around that lake more and circumnavigating, as i usually do. of course we had no idea, but to think we were right there and could have helped someone in need of assistance is so frustrating. i hope it turns out well.
