This one turned out to be a doozy. Doesn't look like much on the topo map, but I really enjoyed the ridge.

Ruby Peak looks like a fun scramble. What day did you go up there? I hiked to Morgan Pass on Friday and it was totally smoky.

That was Wednesday. The smoke rolled in on Friday when I did Point 11,040.

Wish I understood the weather dynamics better. The winds in Mammoth have been out of the SW for 2 weeks now. You'd think it would have been smokey this whole time -- no idea what changed overnight on Thursday.
