Summer plans with Sierra snow....

So with the Sierra holding epic amounts of snowfall, I'm rethinking my current plans of doing a south to north traverse from ansel Adams to tuoulumne in late July. Was wondering what people have been seeing on the west side of the Sierra Hey as far as snowlines in Sequoia...
Possibly considering Jennie lakes loop in early July and maybe golden trout wilderness late July/early August...
I don't have any experience in either of these two areas, so I'm at a bit of a loss...
Basically looking for 3-4 days backpacking with 25-40 miles in length
Ideas?
Contemplated even flying out to Colorado, but heard the snowpack is equally massive out yonder
Thanks
