Hi everybody,

Me and a couple of friend are searching for our next big hike/scrambling to do next summer in New England. We do love trails with hiking/scrambling which are a bit technical. --- A good example would be Huntington ravine trail that we did a couple of time.

By looking at what we already did, what would you recommend next ?

Completed trails:
Mt Washington
- Huntington ravine trail
- Amonoosuc trail

Mt Katahdin
- Cathedral trail

Mt Marcy (not technical but we did it!)

*****This is for a week-end trip, so, no hikes more than 3 days.******

Any idea?

I think Mahoosuc Notch would be a nice change of pace for you. Not so alpine as the stuff you've done so far, but definitely a challenging scramble.

While not so technical (at least when the rock is dry - it gets spicier when wet) the Baldface Circle Loop has steep hiking up exposed granite ledges, spectacular views, long sections above tree line, and was one of my favorite hikes when I lived near Boston. It's about 10 mi round trip so can be done as a full day or short overnight.

The slide on North Tripyramid is an interesting class 3 route.
