Anyone have both? I'm pretty much sold on the Nallo, but the Warmlite is still lingering in my mind... :?

don't have the warmlite, and I am sure it is great... but I am super happy with my Nallo 3 GT. If you are going to go with the Nallo, spring for the GT. It comes in handy, especially as a base camp tent.

If I go that route, I'll def get the GT. One more question for all you gear junkies...Nammatj 3 GT or the Nallo 3 GT?

Depends on whats most important to you.

weight or strength?

I love my Nallo 2GT and it is plenty sturdy.

Unless you intend on abusing it and having harsh conditions, go with the Nallo. It's lighter.

I'd like it foe Denali eventually. Thats why I'm on the fence. I guess I'm just not sure what I want...just looking for experiences.
Thanks!

Nallo is fine for Denali.... besides you could always double up on the poles, if you are worried.

Used my old nallo 2 (non GT) on Rainier last year, and there was a huge storm... a ton of tents were destroyed in it, but the nallo was just fine. It sure moved around a lot at night... but it didn't get destroyed.

Definitely worth the money.

What's the difference between GT and non-GT version? Anywhere I can find for decent price?

sometimes ebay is a good price.

Hilleberg is expensive, but worth the money.

I have Namatj 3 and I used it on Denali. Mixed experience: needs a lot of space to set up, vulnerable to side winds; however, it is warm and light, was fine for 3 on West Butt and tight but OK for 4 on West Rib. Namatj is similar to Nallo but the end is not tapered so it has a bit more room. BTW, my Namatj 3 is closer to 7 lbs when dry, not the advertized 5lb 12oz.

I visited Stephenson "factory" several years ago and played with the tent set-up for a while. My impression is that Stephenson is more wind resistant and it is considerably lighter. It can (and should IMHO) be ordered with a side window - very unique feature. Stephenson's design is absolutely unique: it is basically double-walled silnylon on the side walls and single silnylon on the ends. So it is completely impervious to air - condensdation is reduced due to warm side walls and ventilation. Stephenson has more floor space because the vestibule is a part of the tent which can be both good and bad, more often good in my opinion.

Yeah, the Warmlites are very intriguing, it seems as if there is not many who have experience w/ them though...

I have used and strongly endorse the Kaitum 3GT and absolutely love it. The customer service is second to none, great folks.

Love my Kaitum 2. I've heard horrible things about WarmLites customer service.

not affiliated in any way... just saw a good deal on a brand that rarely goes on sale.
