I have owned Kaylands and Scarpas. The Kaylands seem to be very closee to the stated US size. The Euro sizing on the Scarpas is very similar to La Sportiva's depending on the model, But never more than a 1/2 or less off for me so far.

I find the Kayland M11+ fit my narrow feet better than the Mt Blanc.

thanks for the reply - would you say the kayland's have a lower volume and a narrower toe box.

No question the Kylands have a lower volume fit compared to the Scarpa but I wouldn't extend that to the assumption of a narrower toe box. Sorry that may not make sense. But I have found toe box volume to differ even in the same brands. The over all last not so much.

Quick example for my feet: call it a 12US, C width and a very narrow "A" heel.
Kayland the best fit (although I don't own any at the moment)
Scarpa is a bit wide (but my Phantom Ultras are a perfect fit)
La Sportiva generally fit very well, but a little narrow in the toe box, so I'm forced to buy 1/2 bigger than prefered and then can have a problem with heel fit. (and generally my go to brand..because I like their boots)

thanks - makes complete sense - i have a narrow heel, relatively high arch and am wide across the ball of my foot. la sportiva nepals in 48 are too narrow, the mont blanc's in 48 just fit in length and the width was fine. trying to figure out if i'd wear a 13.5 or 14 in the kaylands
