If you were to reach Everest, what is the tent you would chose?

The Colemen Weathermaster without a doubt!

On a serious note though, it all depends if you wanted to reach the summit, or only hang out at base camp. Also if you do plan for the summit, if you will be carrying the tents, or some hired help will be.

If you are on a small budget, Nepali made North Face (some say "North Fake") immitations are of remarkably good quality for a fraction of the original price.

But beware of the quality differences, in particular for the poles (Korean or Taiwanese poles are much better quality than Chinese stuff).

That's the one I use on all my solo, winter expeditions to K2.

There's a saying that says "if you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it."

A corollary to that for this question would be "if you have to ask, you shouldn't be there."

Thank you for the answers. For now (if there are other ideas) I found Bruno`s answer as best for me, because I mean 2 or 3-person tent (sorry that I hadn`t specified), especially to endure the strongest winds.
