Going to purchase some Scarpa Triolet boots and need recommendation on mail order retailer. I live in NC and mountaineering boots here are considered to be Wal Mart work boots that you wear on mountains.

Zappos has free shipping and free return shipping if it doesn't fit. I've used them for years. Otherwise use the Google shopping search link. Compares many sites quickly.

I've had good luck with Zappos and Backcountry. Both have good return policies and a good inventory of boots on hand generally.

I live in North Carolina and bought my Merrill hiking boots at REI. I would rather try on boots, before I buy them. There are 2 REI locations in Charlotte.

Ordered from Zappos. Lots lighter than my Scarpa but feet heat up pretty fast
