BD Speed 55 backpack ?
Posted: Fri Jan 17, 2014 2:06 amI just bought a Black Diamond Speed 55 backpack and was wondering if anyone knows why the bottom is padded. It seems like it has a layer of foam or something. Any clues what the reason is?

Posted: Fri Jan 17, 2014 2:22 amI've got a speed 30 and I think it's just two layers of fabric. I didn't see any foam when I fixed the hole in the bottom of it.
