Aku Boots?

Has anybody heard of Aku or have any experience with their products? Are they a reputable company?
I'm looking at mountaineering boots and came across the Aku Mustang GTX at a pretty low price. Is it a good boot?

A buddy of mine has the Aku Spyder. Don't know about the other models but the Spyder has a super breathable upper. The interior is similar to the old Sportiva Nepal (all leather interior cuff). He got them on Sierra Trading Post for $150 about a year ago.

^^^I got the same deal on the Spider last season. Have only used them a couple of times but I am quite happy. Warm, light, comfortable, couldn't ask for much more...even before considering what I paid for them.
