Gloves for Aconcagua

Going in Jan or Feb. I already have:

-Mountain Hardwear's absolute zero mitten
-A basic TNF Gore Windstopper fleece style glove

I think I could benefit from something in the middle. Wondering specifically about either MH's Hydra or Medusa, or the BD Patrol glove (I can get a good deal on all).

Future mountains beyond Aconcagua could include Denali, Elbrus, Vinson, and maybe Himalaya (e.g., Island Peak, etc)

Thoughts? Thanks.

A good technical glove should be good. The BD Patrol would be my choice. I used the same hand protection on Aco as Denali only with lines under my mitts.

MEC fleece liners
MEC Out of Bounds technical glove
Granite Gear Lutsen Mitts

Good luck and have a safe climb.

Brad, thanks for the rec. I also spotted MH's Hydra, which I'm wondering is more comparable to the Patrol than the Medusa. I think the Patrol looks like it might be the better choice but I haven't tried on any of the three.

I looked at the MEC Out O' Bounds gloves $71CAD, But I decided I wanted a mitten and went with the MEC Yukon Mitts $69CAD I'm really happy with them, All they need are liners of your preference (synthetic or fleece) to go with them.
