Is that 8Gb card compatible with Konika-Minolta Maxxum 5D Question :?:

If SanDisk Ultra II CompactFlash 8GB is compatible with Konika-Minolta Maxxum (Dynax) 5D. Is SanDisk Ultra CompactFlash 8GB compatible as well :?:

We've already bought it and I'd like to know before opening the case

As long as it isn't a UDMA card (which Ultra II's aren't, to my knowledge), it should work perfectly.

This is something that really annoys me about product specifications and reviews: They say simply that a device takes a specific media format as if all of these formats are identical. In fact, they are not. Any CF card over 2-GB must be formatted in FAT-32. If the device that you're using the card with supports FAT-32, it should work okay with that card. But, the manufacturers and product reviewers play cat and mouse so often that we must resort to asking the most basic compatibility questions of those who have simply tried it and either experienced success or failure. The card works in my Konika-Minolta Dynax 5D but I don't know if it will run in my 19 in 1 Hama card reader/writer
