Anyone out here has tried the new G2 SM boots? Would love to hear how they fit compared to the Nepal Cubes. I've been reading that you probably need them half a size larger, but it'd be great to get views. Obviously, will give them a try as well.

I have both, and for my feet they run about the same...1/2 size larger for the G2 SM would probably still be okay, but one full size up would prob be too big for my feet (I wear 45.5 for both nepal cube and for G2 SM). Of course, with different feet types the G2 SM may not be sized exactly the same for you...

I wear a 46.5 in the Nepal EVO, and a 46.5 in the G2 SM. I feel the G2 has a bit more room, but that's to be expected, since your feet can swell at altitude.

My pair of G2 SM feels larger than my Nepals by about 1/2 a size.

Just tried today. I usually am a 41 in street shoes and have at home a 43 CUBE with custom insoles ( couldn't find a 42.5)

I tried both 42 and 43 in G2 SM. 43 - instantly to big, my foot is swimming inside. I was surprised and disappointed to find out that even 42 doesn't fit me. Still too large and a lot of heel lifting. I do however hit the bot with my toes when kicking steps. The lacing seems no to be enough to keep the heel in place no matter how much i've tighten it. Gives a loose fitting overall. I hate that BOA system and i suspect is the reason for the poor fitting.

Tried a 43 in Scarpa 6000. Fits like a glove. Strangely tighter than the G2 (in 42) and I though La Sportiva is the one with narrow fitting. Even the inner boot is better and more comfortable. Unfortunately not as warm as G2 and definitely not warm enough for a 7000er without an overboot.

I still can't understand how the CUBE fits my feet but not the G2. Hopefully they'll change the fitting in the newer models. Or at least Scarpa comes out with a 7000 model.
