Any interest in an SMC T-Anchor copycat?

This may be a long shot, but figured I'd try here. I really like the SMC T-Anchors (http://smcgear.com/t-anchor-4-pack.html) for securing shelters in snow. (See photo below.) Sure, you can use stuff sacks filled with snow, etc, but I find it's nice to have some purpose-built tent anchors. These things weigh only 23 grams each, so there is not a huge weight penalty over stuff sacks. (And they are actually lighter than some old fabric parachute ones I have from Mountain Hardwear at 29 grams each.)

SMC charges $8.74/unit when you buy these in a four pack for $34.95. I didn't want to pay that much, so I got in touch with my uncle who does a lot of machining. He said he could make them for less. I'm going to place an order in the next day or so, and if anyone wants me to order some for you, I'm happy to do so. The end cost to you would be somewhere between $5-6 + shipping (a lot of these would fit in a standard size USPS Priority box for about $7).

If anyone wants to commit to any of these, please make a comment here and we can figure out details via PM.
