I'm looking to buy a durable down jacket that is about 700 fill. I really like Marmot shadow down as far as durability goes, but unfortunately, I am buying for my work and Marmot doesn't do corporate sales for ski jackets. Any recommendations?

Down parkas and sweaters seem to becoming more delicate as higher fill quality has become available. Light weight fabrics are necessary to allow the ultra high loft down to loft. The last couple of parkas I owned (OR Maestro, Patagonia Fitzroy) have very fragile shells compared to my 25 year old Marmot sweater.
You may need to go vintage. My first Alaska trip I did, I borrowed a friend's old REI down parka. It had a very durable Gore-Tex shell.
Or, have Feathered Friends build a custom parka with a durable shell.
