I was wondering if anyone knows of a route up Overlook Mountain on the Teton/Washakie Wilderness boundry. I'm planning to go up Rampart Creek to Rampart Pass this August, and was wondering if anyone knew of a route from the pass over to the peak. Any knowledge of the local area would help, thanks.

For anyone interested, I summitied point 11,455 just to the East of Overlook Mountain on 8/27 and surveyed the route between the two peaks. It looks like any route between the two would be class 4 at a minimum, this is of course after a grueling 3 day trek of 20 miles to get to the basin below.

You should have been able to reach the basin in 2 days--you must be a slacker.
