I find the pictures for the mountain pages "picture of the day, week, moment ...what't the word... huge? You really do not see the whole photo... maybe the best part is on the perimeter?... Any way, so is the primary image for a route or trip report. What can I do to get the whole picture displayed in my primary picture. Thank you

This is something that many people want, as do I, so I've had it on my list of things to get done.

Hopefully in the next few weeks and months, I can make it happen by allowing people to choose the format for the "cover image" (aka "primary image") of pages to either be formatted like they currently are or make it so that the full image displays and there is a black border around the edge if it doesn't fit in the width of the window of the user.

The hard problem to solve is that there is no standard browser window width, so the image either has to be stretched, boxed, or cropped -- or let it overflow (hiding some parts of the image) depending on the width of the browser window it is displayed in.

Each option has its limitations and we chose to go with the current option because it looks the best on the most screen sizes (desktop, tablet, phone, etc.)
