I just happen to come by this when searching on youtube...

Got a certificate as paramedic myself, but these guys are just on an entire different level:

There are 6 episodes so far i think.

ps: not sure if this is worth making a topic over, but enjoy!

I can't tell . . . was this staged, or were those jokers really unprepared to prusik out of the crevasse under their own power?

Not sure, most of it seems real enough to me. But yea...im a noob myself when it comes to climbing...but i think..mont blanc area = alot of inexperienced people, thank god his buddy managed to arrest his fall (if it was real).

Always a good chance to remind people that most SAR/MR are staffed by volunteers.

I want to put in a plug for my old team, Central Arizona Mountain Rescue: http://www.mountainrescue.org/

I saw a list of top 10 most dangerous mountains a year or two ago and Monte Blanc was in the top 3. Obviously, from a climber's perspective, that is totally wrong. But then I figured it had to do with what you pointed out, namely, tons of inexperienced visitors that get in over their head.

Anyway, thanks for the video link. Looks good---I'm going to watch them this week.
