If I'd be a few days in the area and I'd have enough money I would take all telepheriques, trains or whatever I'd need for approaching mountains. But I prefer they don't built anymore

What the hell?

Who makes / writes something like this and what on earth are they trying to accomplish with it??

Anyway, on topic: I'm happy to ride a cable car if it's there already, but if they weren't there I'd be equally happy. The only thing that makes me unhappy is a loooong drag up, through not so pretty terrain to find out there was also a cable car.

The only thing that really, really bugs the hell out of me are logging road approaches. Like 8 miles and 3000 feet worth...lots of that in the Pacific Northwest.

Yes I can sympathise with that - they make the soles of my feet burn.
