OK...OK . I think we've had our fun but might we just call it quits? I don't want to be like the bully in the class picking on the kid that's a little different. 1000peaks is who he is. Everything with a grain of salt eh?

If you ever bother to check it out, you'll find that the climbing and hiking sections of the Sierra Club are quite autonomous groups.


I have gotten that impression; at least in regard to the DC one.

I am part of a hiking club that is full of refugees from the Sierra Club.

If you must join a club to go outside, there are many alternatives to the Sierra Club.

Still, I always enjoy skipping ahead in a longish Pete post to find the embedded rant about the MLC SC, so I hope he never stops, for my own personal selfish reasons.
