chocolate that doesn't melt

Bakers changed their formula along with shooting their price much higher, and their Bittersweet chocolate may still taste as good as ever, but it melts too easily. I've relied on it for hiking and climbing since the '50s. Now what?
Any suggestions?

Jesus, yes Kendal mintcake is pretty good, but the question is chocolate that won't melt in the pack.

That's funny - I just found a small bit of a bar of Kendal's Mint Cake that I bought 30+ years ago in an old box. It was hard but still edible. Haven't seen it for sale in the US in years but it looks like you can still get it on Amazon. It's tasty in small doses but you have to have a serious sweet tooth to eat a lot of it.

Peanut M&Ms always work for me. Melts in your mouth, not in your hand or pack. They also don't freeze in winter.

Did you Google: melt resistant chocolate?
Looks like there's recent developments from Hersheys and Cadbury.

The internet claims that Cadbury Flake doesn't melt easily (supposesdly it crumbles when exposed to high temps). I can't vouch for that, but having tried some that a UK coworker brought to our office can vouch for the fact that it tastes like actual chocolate.

Alas Cadbury Flake is a milk chocolate, according to their website. I'm picky, looking for a dark and not overly sweet chocolate.
Opening for some enterprising entrepreneur here?

They make a dark version though I haven't tried it. It's supposedly 55% cacao.
