Enough training?

So I'm planning on hiking Harney Peak in SD. I've been running 200 miles per week, doing 3,000 vertical a day on a treadmill, swimming 20 miles a week, bench press 400 lbs, and am covered head to toe in Columbia gear. Is this enough?

You need more cowbell.

With that sort of dedication I'd go to astronaut school and then bag Olympus Mons. I bet you could get Columbia to sponsor you and they'd probably even make custom a space suit.

After doing what you did for training and failing I had to resort to some extreme measures. I did the Jane Fonda workout and summiting was a breeze. Try that I promise you'll get to the top...

Nope. Start a blog about your guided exploits. Thank all the people who made it possible even though they really didn't. Above all, bench 600 without a spotter or just gtfo.

While your training routine may be adequate, I really don't think you should try this alone.

Perhaps Mr. Torino might be talked into joining you:

I did start spotting a bit on my truck seat after benching 600 the other day. Does that count?

You didn't mention the length of your hiking poles.

I was just gonna go with whatever Jurek used on his AT record.

With that regimen, I recommend that you stick to the summits of states like Indiana and Iowa.
