Coffee at Camp? This stuff is BEST

I drink coffee and think I have found the "gem" of unknown coffee companies. Bongo Java is a company located in, of all places Nashville, TN. They started their own co-op in South America and expanded to Africa and other areas as well. Their coffee is 100% fair trade. Very cool story. Look'em up and no I don't sell it or anything like that. My favorite is the Organic Orgasmic. Anyone else have a great coffee maker other than the typical everyday stuff?

I used to carry a french press in the mountains (and a bag of Peet's), despite the bulk, hassle, and mess. Then a coffee-inclined climbing buddy discovered this: instant coffee that actually tastes like coffee.

+1 with the Via. I'm pretty much hooked on all of them, even the flavored ones they came out with recently.

The Iced Coffee is a perfect pick-me-up/caffeine boost on those longs days: just shake into some of the best water on earth from the Sierra streams...

The best I have found for anywhere is from the sweetmarias web site. buy an I Roast and roast your own beans, it takes 10 minutes, it easy, good and cheap.

I've been bringing Via supplemented with this, since instant doesn't have much zing. This also works nicely for alpine starts where you may not want to take the time to fire up the stove.

I know, addiction is pathetic, but I find it also helps with altitude headaches/lethargy.
