Pages with zero score

On a lark I sorted all of the Mountain/Rock pages by score, lowest first, and was surprised to see a handful of fairly good pages with scores of zero. I suspect these pages were put up but never voted upon, perhaps being on the "what's new" for maybe just a day or two. What's interesting is that a lot of the zero-score pages were much better than those with low non-zero scores, which are universally bad pages. So... if you're bored at the moment and the boss isn't looking, help out your fellow SPer and views some of these unheralded pages.

Now this is just my opinion, if it were possible for SP to have like a negative scoring part of the system. 5 being neutral, and below 5 making the score go down. That way if bad pages were voted 1/10 it would actually be lower than a non voted page. Probably not possible but fun in theory.

It is possible, but someone would have to modify the code to implement it.

This is an incredible coincidence, i did the same just yesterday, and i had the same thought. Incredible, i'm quite surprized. had i been able to log in the forum today the coincidence might have been even bigger, since there would have been two topics saying the same things. The world is a really amazing place :D
Anyway, i second that, and i propose summitposters who find something they think worth more than 0 should mention those pages here.

I also check out page scores sometimes, and have noticed with my own pictures that sometimes good pages/ nice pictures can get overlooked while other things get votes. Sometimes its just a matter of who's looking when you post it.
If you really put your all into a page and want to be rewarded, submit it in the winter so it gets more exposure.

In the 3 -1/2 years I've been a SP-member, I've did a complete analysis on WHY people vote the
way they do, and this is my final conclusion :

ADDITIONALLY, I've found that more MEN vote on images posted by female members than women
vote on images posted by male MEMBERS... leading me to this unbiased conclusion :

The voting system is over rated in my book. Get it, overrated. Just had to say that one. 8)

Surgent, good post. I think some decent pages get no votes because they get thrown off the What's New Page at really busy times or because they go up as "Under Construction" and don't get finished until much later.

Why bad pages get good votes has been hashed and rehashed and rehashed again.

Anyway, why not use this thread to post links to good pages with no votes? It would do no harm, and some votes and comments might encourage some of those people to contribute more.
