Warren Miller of climbing?

Is there anybody out there that has done climbing films like Warren Miller films skiing? Climbing being a much slower sport than skiing wouldn't be quite as exciting but I would think there would be a market for it.

The short answer is no. Like you mentioned watching skiing is kind of exciting, watching climbing is like watching paint dry.

Thanks Cy and Boy, I have seen some documentary's on climbing and I've found them very interseting. Warren Miller is a little like that with his films. Paint drying? not for me

This young lad has been putting out some really nice "short" climbing films lately along with his very nice photography. Click on any of the "Most Popular". The site in general is well done and chock full of very motivating climbing porn..

Jonathan Griffith

I found this short piece to be quite motivating actually.

I found Sender Film's short film about Ueli Steck's speed ascent of the N Face of the Eiger to be far more entertaining that your typical bouldering film. Excerpt here.

I follow the updates on this blog:

http://verticalcarnival.blogspot.com/

Which is the blog of Renan Ozturk and Cedar Wright. They are part of a collaboration which focuses on doing high quality climbing films and updates from the field. They have their technology dialed, allowing them to do updates from very remote and wild places.

It's worth takin' a look at

Cheers!

The group that put together the "First Ascent" series of flicks did a pretty good job. I can't remember exactly who it was right now = looked it up:

Sender Films http://www.firstascentseries.com/
