If Chiwawa is climbed from Chiwawa basin, can a person then drop off the backside into Lyman lakes without climbing gear, or too steep?

Looking at Google Earth I'd say not, it looks like steep snow all the way to Lyman Glacier. Another option would be descend a short bit just below the summit then walk the N ridge to Lower Lyman lakes.
