Anyone know where to pick up copies of the older years? I think this one has been published since 1947...

For paper copies, try EBay or some such, or a specialty bookstore.

Thanks, but I only see availability to buy back issues to 2008 or so. The publication goes all the way back to 1947...

Good stuff. Sometimes ANAM is dead-on: it's tricky to self-arrest with an ice tool. And sometimes it's thoughtlessly dogmatic. If only the unfortunate woman who hurt her face and ankle, the guy who broke his arm, the guy who broke his leg, and the guy who suffered "multiple abrasions and lacerations over his body as well as severe fractures to his shoulder and left leg" had all been wearing helmets...
