if you are willing to travel and are open minded and keen to explore try Oman. Weather is perfect in Feb, you can hike (up to 3000m), dive/snorkel, go caving or climbing. People are very child friendly and open to meet and exchange with foreigners. Also in the region Oman is very very safe

I think maybe February would be a good time to go to Antarctica.
