Zion Park free camping

anyone know if Mosquito Cove is open for camping? It was closed years ago, but I haven't been down there in a while and wanted to know if it opened again.
I want to head down to Zion soon and would like some free camping.

It was closed last summer and probably still is.

I'm going to Zion May 15, 16, 17. Taking a full day guided canyoneering trip into Water Canyon. Cheaper in a group if you're interested in joining us.

Mosquito Cove has been closed every time I've been through in the last few years. Last time we were out we stayed on BLM lands south of 9 and north of 59. I recall lots of vacant land behind a small housing development.

Use the Sheep Bridge Rd, just west of Virgin, to head south from 9 and access BLM lands.
