Posted: Sun Feb 12, 2012 8:29 pmFor sale is a used Mountain Hardwear South Col 70 backpack, size large - this is a great winter or mountaineering pack! I've only used this pack a couple of times for overnighters and it is in very good shape. This is a lighter pack with an alpine suspension that allows comfortable carries. Semi-rigid framesheet and aluminum stay distribute the load; removable lid lightens load while still allowing for an internal flap to protect the load.
On this particular pack I have sewn 2 hip pouches on to the belt, and two lashpoints at the bottom for an additional mattress. The elastic straps for accessories have also been replaced with beefier straps; although I did keep the elastic if you want it back on the pack. Personally I like these much better.
