Hello!
I just bought a used pair of BD Black Prophet ice axes, but one of the was missing the pick.

So I want to buy a spare pick, and as I understand it these old axes are not compatible with todays spare parts? Please correct me if I am wrong.

I don't use them for climbing but for going on / up on ice while paddling, so the quality or status doesn't matter, I am even interesed in a broken pick as long as I can use it after grinding a new tip.

Anybody has one lying around for a reasonable price?

I live in Sweden but have friends in th US if that works better for shipping.

BD picks have not changed in 20 years or so. Current picks will fit the old Black Prophets.

So then I am looking for any used BD pick. Any help is appreciated since I haven't found anybody around here with any for sale (and a new pick costs about 70usd).

I take a look at home and see if I have a extra spare lying around.
