What's up with links this morning? I can get to my user page but every link I click ends up with a banner but no content. I've tried routes, ranges, etc. and they all appear blank.

Thanks,

Bob

Links from your own profile page or links on other pages?

You know you've made a really great page when you are benefiting by looking at your own page before heading out on a hike!

Actually I print and pocket my own climbing beta all the time as well as see others with them on their person...that was all working fine prior....checking printing format is fairly critical regarding any resizing, etc.

When I log in and click on my profile, Fred's comes up, not mine. The link to the profile is clearly Fred's - it's not a cookie problem.

It may be possible that Fred has been visiting websites of questionable character and gotten some back cookies in return...

When I click on his reference to my page, my page comes up. It is only when I click on My Profile that I get the following URL:http://www.summitpost.org/users/fred-spicker/2098
Thus I cannot get into my account, make changes or anything. I am using Firefox. All his stuff works just fine.

Okay - after upgrading and mucking EVERYTHING out, it finally works. JEEZ!

To help try things out for SPv3, I just created a new Mountain page.

After I submitted the page, I wanted to make a few changes so I went back to the "Edit Page" option. Many of the field boxes appear WAY off towards the right side of the edit screen. It looks bizarre.

Last I heard Redwic was using IE8 (or 7). Redwic, please provide us a screen shot. These are extremely useful in helping us figure out what went wrong.

"Images" chapter now counts images wrongly. Before it displayed 12 images, now it displays 14. So, the message below gives a wrong information. For example: On this page:

http://www.summitpost.org/roterdspitze/830933

there are altogether 13 images. They are all displayed, but the message below says:
[ View Gallery - 1 More Images ]

Good catch, I'll mark this bug in the list.

Thanks for the report, but nothing will be done to fix this. :( This is because the CSS tells browser to display the font at a certain size which IE cannot over ride it. You will get the same problem on Mbpost.com, Mountain Project, Joomla.org, and many others. We would have to compromise everyone's font size to make this work. :x

Regarding point 2, that makes sense considering that your zooming in. Do yourself a favor and get a browser like Google Chrome or Firefox. They are much better! You will not encounter problems like these, they rarely ever crash (in comparison to IE), and the just straight out work better. You can easily import your bookmarks to. I know I sound like an advertiser, but I can't stress enough the importance of a good browser. It will make your life (using the internet) better, and the less folks who use old out dated browsers, the less head ache mess for us.

I'm saving up a bug list. I didn't report everything to you because I didn't want to overwhelm you. Fortunately it's not that big. :)
