could be a complete red herring, but i've found that the site is sometimes faster when I use firefox instead of IE. might be worth a shot

Man SP is getting slower all the time. A friend of mine is asking me to fix up pages that I am an admin of, but it's starting to become a hassle. If it weren't for sp's slowness, I would be posting a lot more pictures. After all, I don't want to make the problem worse. But on the other hand I still have much of my best work unposted here including photography.

If anything is going to be the demise of summitpost, it's the server speed.

I find that the slowness is becoming ridiculous. I literally can't access about half the content on this site because my browser just gives up "waiting for www.summitpost.org"

Man is SP getting dreadfully slow.

It's taking minutes to load my profile, thank goodness I stay logged in. I couldn't image how bad that must be! :roll:

Somebody had got to contact the webmaster, this isn't just bad for me. This is bad for SP! I feel as though SP may loose credible members if this is not resolved.
